Music was my first love

My Story

Music isn't my whole life – but it has been a defining part of it for more than 25 years.

Over 1,500 live performances, music university Würzburg, advanced artistic training at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, and experience in almost every genre imaginable – from jazz to metal, classical to country – have shaped my path as a musician. Yet what has always moved me most was never the applause. It was that rare moment when music becomes something greater than sound. When it comes alive – and when we come alive through it.

At some point, that search led me beyond music itself. I found myself drawn to philosophy, yoga, meditation, and to the stories of people from all walks of life around the world. I wanted to understand what makes a life truly fulfilling – and what it means to follow your passion without losing yourself along the way.

That journey became the foundation of both the Backstage Wisdom Podcast and my work as a coach. Through Backstage Journey, I help musicians cultivate greater self-awareness, authenticity, and inner freedom – so they can create not only meaningful music, but a meaningful life.
